Today I took a Mental Health Day. What that means is I took the day off from doing all my work projects and just focused on resting. I of course walked my dogs and such. But after that I took the rest of the day for myself. I rested. Sometimes we need to take a step back and slow down. I watched cooking shows, I laughed at John Oliver and held my dog. I showered and had a good day. I do this twice a week actually. I do this on Sunday’s typically after church and on Saturdays. But this week I needed an extra mental health day. I’m on my period this week and I wasn’t feeling very good. So I took a day to rest. I encourage you to do the same if possible. Take a mental Health day! You deserve it.
