Getting past all the trauma

Getting past trauma of any kind seems like a monumental task. And it can be depending on how traumatic your experience was. I need to tell you that it’s okay to take your time. Take all the time you need to heal. Everyone’s journey is different and unique. Everyone’s healing is different and unique. No matter what, your healing journey will conclude. But you need to be patient with yourself. And understand that things take time. Healing is not linear. Somedays you feel like absolute shit and others you feel like you could quite possibly take on the world. And that’s okay! Healing has ups and downs. But the important thing to remember is that you’re not alone. You’re loved. You are so important to everyone in your life.

Perhaps you need to solo travel, perhaps therapy is in your future. But that’s all okay! Healing is not a one size fits all thing. Take your time! Love yourself, hold yourself. And most of all encourage yourself.
