HUGE TRIGGER WARNING to anyone whose been sexually assaulted or dealt with suicide ideation. If you’re triggered in any way, please don’t read this blog. I have so many other posts you can read. I’d like to talk about this in the most sensitive way possible. Sexual assault is traumatizing. No other way around it. That’s what it is. It makes you feel cheap, and a whole bunch of other negative things. When I get sexually assaulted at 14 I wasn’t quite sure I wanted to live anymore. I tried to drink myself to death. I was so numb and didn’t feel worth anything.
I wouldn’t have been believed if I had told anyone. So I didn’t. That’s what I’d like to talk about today. If someone tells you they’ve been sexually assaulted believe them. Please.
